Victoria D. Gray

I know what it feels like to be stuck.

From an early age as a dancer, I understood that movement and wellness are inseparable. That foundation shaped everything that followed—a deep appreciation for rhythm, coordination, and the integrated nature of a well-functioning body.

As a board certified Athletic Trainer and strength and conditioning coach, I worked with athletes across many sports from the moment of injury through return to sport. I spent years working in high-level fitness environments at Equinox in New York and San Francisco, plus health administration and research at one of the top cancer hospitals in New York City, became a published co-author of the book, "Kettlebells - Strength Training for Power and Grace." From there I transitioned to building a successful personal training business in both San Francisco and Chicago.

But when I had my son everything changed. The birth went well, but he was five weeks early. Since I was in the best shape of my life, I thought I would bounce back easily. After a year and a half, I realized I wasn't bouncing back. I went to see my doctor and after some lab work, was diagnosed with Hashimoto's, which is an autoimmune version of hypothyroidism. I was told my condition couldn't be reversed. Instead of accepting that, I researched, changed my diet, managed stress and discovered the workouts that helped me feel my best. My diligence paid off, my thyroid labs began to normalize. And just as I reached that milestone, I realized I had entered perimenopause. Since I had done the research and shifted my lifestyle, I was ready. I have faced perimenopause head on, continued to keep my thyroid numbers in healthy ranges, and maintain my energy and joy.

I've always known how vital lifestyle change can be, now I've lived it! If you feel stuck and need guidance on your wellness journey, I'm here to help you.
